As 2023 winds down, Matt and I are mapping out the future of BleisureLiving.com for 2024 and beyond.
Travel planning entails:
- Deciding where you want to go
- Making a plan (and sometimes detailed itinerary)
- Packing
- Figuring out who’s coming along
- Actually getting on the plane or in the car or train (or other transport mode) and hitting the road (or the skies)
So does business and marketing planning.
When I decided to re-launch BleisureLiving.com this year, I never imagined that I would find such an amazing co-pilot (Matt). We know where we want to go and are sitting down in December to build that roadmap.
Just as in our travel lives, we’re great at packing — squeezing lots of high-quality things into a small bag. We both have full-time day jobs, so BleisureLiving.com is our beloved volunteer project.
That’s not to say that we don’t get anything in return. Hotels, hospitality venues, and product/service companies are starting to reach out to us to review them. (We try to remain positive and only write about things we truly love.)
Our first BleisureLiving journey of 2024 will be to the Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas, where we’ll be looking for new travel snacks and tales of founders >50 (for The Geezer-Proofer podcast).
Who Wants to Come Along for the 2024 Journey?
As with any start-up or travel adventure, being surrounded by the right people is key.
Have you ever dreamed of being a travel writer or looking to increase your social media clout?
We need to find more “travel guides” — talented people to write content and reviews and people to profile for this section.
You must be positive, media-savvy, and willing to donate your time and energy in exchange for 50K professional eyes, hearts, and influencers.
