People know me as something of a “gadget girl.”
I’m always on the lookout for fashion, organization, and electronics items that will make my travel life easier.
This summer, I did way less traveling than usual because I chose to move my “home.” The quotation marks are because I view my apartment as the place where I sleep, eat, and keep my suitcase in-between adventures.
My next excursion isn’t until September, but you can be sure I’ll be packing these items:
- My beloved packing cubes. They are even labeled, for extra convenience.
- These pants go from day to night, are lightweight and comfy, and come in many colors.
- I save space with these tanks with built-in bras. This brand is more expensive, but I splurged on a couple of them for the winter months. Similarly, I pack these for gym workouts. A side benefit is that you have less laundry to do upon return.
- Joining the GLP-1 bandwagon, I discovered this handy dandy carrying case for vials and syringes. But make sure your hotel has a mini-fridge!
- As for tech-y travel companions, I love this charger because it eliminates the need for extra cables. Got cords? Here’s an easy way to keep them from getting dangled at the bottom of your bag.
- A laptop lift is essential if you plan to ZOOM or TEAM or podcast from the road. People can look into your eyes, and it reduces neck strain. This one is a little pricey, but it’s well-constructed and ultra-light.
- Although it’s not technically a product, it now travels with me everywhere! AI is an amazing way to find new destinations and travel gear, and even make cover photos for this site. Look for more tips on how you can use it throughout your travel planning and packing.
