Well, I don’t exactly believe in Santa, so I gifted myself and received some much-needed travel toys this holiday season.
(I got some more home and life stuff — a mini pressure cooker, a spoon rack, my fave fragrance, comfy jeans, a framed pic from my Editor-in-Chief Matt (commemorating our awesome Sam Fox meal), and a “23 and Me” kit. My friends and family were so thoughtful this year!)
But I’ll be feeling first class on my January 2024 adventures with these:
- A cool new suitcase from Solgaard has an amazing “shelf system.” I’ve had my eyes on it for a while, but I waited to snap it up until they had an amazing sale. The accessories pouch was a bonus.
- Eyebobs offers a groovy travel eyeglass case. I no longer have to search for my specs and sunglasses in my carry-on. (It’s super lightweight too!)
- I’ll be able to tune out the world and listen to my audiobooks and tunes with collapsible headphones from Beats. Earpods give me a headache, so I wanted something portable with good sound. And the color will always make me smile.
- My hotel rooms will now be peaceful (or exhilarating, depending on my mood) with a ScentPod (travel-friendly diffuser) from my Medicine Woman friend Jessica at AromaWell.
But, as we all know, experiences are way better than “stuff” and I’m most grateful for the people who helped me with this site in 2023 (including our newest writer — Karla, who will be covering fashion, tech, and lifestyle products).
The trips I took this year were all memorable and I plan to capture my 2024 Bleisure Living moments with 1SE, in addition to on this site. And watch for our sparkly new social media presence next year.
