“I fly 200+ legs each year; the high water mark was 300. Fortunately, it’s all funded by my employer or loyalty points.”
How do you incorporate leisure time into that schedule?
“I try to only work a couple hours at each destination; the rest of the time is my own. I visited all the tourist spots long ago and now focus on finding great food or visiting friends.”
What are your top three favorite travel hacks?
“Smile, smile, and smile. It’s amazing what a little kindness and joy, as shared by Nancy earlier this month, can do.”
What are some ways of maintaining a “normal” social life when you’re constantly in the air and on the road?
“The importance of some routine. I schedule brunch every Sunday with a group of friends; you can hit a dozen birds with one stone.”
Favorite place to visit?
“There are many reasons to go a thousand places: NYC for theater, Florence for food, Phoenix for the Waste Management Open Golf Tournament, etc. It all depends on what interests you.”
Anything else?
As Auntie Mame said, “Live, live, live!
“Whether you take 2, 20 or 200 business trips each year, there’s always time and possibility to add some leisure into your schedule.”
