Spring Clean Your Packing Style

Now is that magical time of the year with longer days, warmer temperatures, and inspiration for annual spring cleaning.

Perhaps you should also look at your packing style this season?

  • What do you truly need in your suitcase, backpack, or carry-on?
  • What products for the 2024 spring/summer season will help you travel quickly and easily — with minimal sweat?

Here are some lightweight, heavy-impact products:

  • Consider a compression travel duffle bag. Suitcases take up space! Swap your hard shell suitcase for one of these. They fold dramatically, giving you more space in your hotel room and home closet.
  • Not ready to let go of your favorite suitcase? Make sure it’s sparkly clean during and after every trip. These can go into your bag to pick up all the nasty stuff accumulating over time.
  • A portable fan can keep you cool and fresh so you don’t show up at meetings sweaty. This one is tiny, has multiple speeds, and even a mirror!
  • Speaking of sweat, throw a couple of these in your bag! You never know when a delay or warm temps can leave you a bit musky (and not in a good way).
  • Smile! No need to shortchange those pearly whites when you’re on the road. This toothbrush is portable AND effective. (It even has a timer and comes in fun colors.)
  • Disposable undies? Yup. It’s a thing. I haven’t tried them, but it’s a good way to free up room in your suitcase for souvenirs on your return trip. Here are versions for both men and women.
  • Why pay $8 for airport bottled water? These small, compact bottles can even be clipped to your bag.
  • Minimize your toiletries with a compact kit like this.

Above all, as you pack for that next spring or summer adventure, continue to ask yourself, “What do I REALLY need to bring?” Remember that the less time you spend waiting for your luggage, the more you can enjoy your destination.

Save space, stay cool, and have a great spring 2024 travel season!
