Having been to LA and San Francisco many times, the central coast of California had never stuck out to me as a must-see, but it definitely is!
Located less than 4 hours from San Francisco and LA, this coastal haven is the perfect place for BleisureLiving enthusiasts to visit after a work trip or even better, enjoy in the evening after a virtual day at the office.
San Luis Obispo airport (code SBP), with an outdoor terrace and flights to several big cities is where to start, less than a mile from award-winning wineries and only 15 minutes from tranquil Pismo Beach.
How should you spend your after-work hours?! Check out Tastes of The Valleys, an incredible wine shop and tasting room experience with great flights for all to enjoy and wine that’s local to the region.
Hungry? No visit to the area is complete without a stop at Splash Cafe for a cup of their famous (and delicious) chowder.
Of course, after a day filled with virtual meetings, I’d recommend enjoying many walks on the beautiful pier and taking in the sunset views.
