Now that bleisure living travelers have so many options for longer stays, the major hotel brands are putting out the welcome mat!
This recent article from Street Fight Magazine (my day gig) highlighted how and why the big chains are investing in long-term stay options.
It makes perfect sense.
Consumers have loyalty to some of the larger hotel chains because they get spiffed with points and perks. Plus, you can enjoy some lodging amenities like housekeeping, laundry, kitchens (that you don’t have to clean!), and, if you’re smart in your choices, complimentary breakfast!
Hotel chains, realizing that they have competition from VRBO, Airbnb, boutique options, and even long-term rentals in apartment complexes, are entering the extended stay space.
Not only do you get the points, but you may also find opportunities to network with other digital nomads!
