Nancy A. Shenker
WEO (Wanderlusting Executive Officer)
From the time I was a little girl, I loved adventures (especially those involving travel). My career as an executive in the publishing, trade show, and financial industries gave me a chance to visit lots of places. Now, as CEO of theONswitch marketing and professional speaker and writer (Embrace the Machine and Thrive Global), I’m usually passing through airports, sleeping in hotels, and hustling at WeWork…a true digital nomad. Bleisure living(™) is not only a website…it’s my way of life!
Lady of Bleisure
The only smell better than jet fuel in the morning is that of coffee brewing. I was bitten by the travel bug at a young age after taking my first flight at a mere two weeks old. Life since then has been filled with plenty of airport codes and quite a few zip codes too. Home is where the art is, but the big, beautiful world is my backyard.
In fact, after helping with the launch of this site, I moved from Minnesota to Europe — for love and adventure.

Money & Travel Queen (and Contributing Editor)
I’m a freelance writer specializing in travel, personal finance and business. My work has appeared on Orbitz, Fodors, RD.com, Travelocity, RD.com, ShermansTravel, Afar, Newsday, Money, The New York Times, ABCNews.com, Forbes.com, among others. When I’m not encouraging people to spend their money wisely, I travel the globe to satisfy my wanderlust and hopefully inspire others to do the same!
Traveling to India at age 6 remains my most formative experience. Seeing how, in a day, the weather, landscape, and opportunity/quality of life could change so drastically was not only jarring but humbling. It awakened a curiosity of all there is to experience in the world. Much of my international travel since has been initiated by work but appreciated and explored just as much as a meticulously planned leisure trip. Creating a work-life balance that affords the flexibility to experience as much as possible is my goal!
